 Hello dear brothers and sisters, just your friendly neighborhood Kentuckian here with another exciting installment of the mission of Elder Stephen Matthew Ray the first.

It was a pretty good and busy week this week! Elder Stanfill and Elder Johnson of the Quorum of the Seventy were in town to rearrange the Crestwood stake presidency and so Elder and Sister Stanfill got to speak with us at Zone Conference and MLC and we also got to hear them speak at Stake Conference yesterday! It was great! They really focused on being 100% responsible and doing all we can to help people be baptized and giving it all to the Lord, putting everything in His hands, doing it His way, and letting Him take care of it. This is the Lord's work and we are able to be the people that bridge the gap between God's children and the covenant path which will allow Heavenly Fathers children, all of us, to be exalted! It was really good!

One of the people we are teaching, Paul, has dropped off the face of the earth.... again... but hopefully he will turn up again soon. The one that I'm most excited for that we are teaching is Wayne (whom I nicknamed chicken wayne because it sounds like Chicken wing in a weird accent) but he is super cool! We taught him the plan of Salvation and the Word of Wisdom these past 2 weeks and he drove us to stake conference as well in spite of being sick this past week! He is so cool and is preparing for baptism in about 2 weeks, so hopefully he will make his date! Elder McHenry and I both got a little sick this week also but we survived and hopefully will get over it soon. Being sick is not fun when you have to constantly be up and going, riding bikes, talking to people and the like. But everything will be all good! Also, I hit my 18 month mark on Wednesday! Woo! Go team! Anyways, I hope you all have a fantastic week! Take Luck, care for it. I love yall!
