Well it's officially cold here, it gets down below 20 at night and it's supposed to snow tomorrow, so that's.... cool. Anyways, this is the end of another transfer and my first transfer training, and I will be staying in Liberty for at least 5 more weeks, but this time as..... district leader! I'm pretty sure they made a mistake but oh well. We do feel a lot better than last week and continue to go biking when we can, although we definitely have to bundle up!
Yesterday, there were more people at church talking about President Nelson's challenge to the women to read the Book of Mormon by the end of the year, and so I read the talk and in it, he promises blessings that we will have the time to do it, and that we receive inspiration and revelation from doing it, and the windows of heaven will be open to us. So, as a missionary I decided it would probably be a good thing to follow the counsel of the prophet, that's why they are here. So I dropped where I had been reading and started to re-read the Book of Mormon again from the beginning before the end of the year. If you think that it's too late to start and you'll never get it done, that is wrong! If you put your mind to it and have the desire and the will to follow through, the Lord will bless you with all of those previously stated blessings! I challenge each of you that hasn't started yet to start today!
This week we found a bunch of new couples to teach and were able to meet with all of them (separately) on Saturday with Brother de Robles! I mean, he was the one that shared and helped them the most but it was awesome to see people actually willing to learn and grow in the gospel! The only problem is, almost none of them have a car to drive the 30 or so miles to get to church. But the Lord will bless them if they are really willing to try. This week has been full of miracles and wonderful things are happening in the Lord's work! I know that this church is true and that there is a living Prophet on the earth today.
