That's right, I've been sick. This week hasn't been the greatest because Elder Toll and I have both been fighting off the flu. I've been doing a little better at it than he has though. Tuesday night we were out tracting and we got a message asking if we were already at the branch Trunk Or Treat. We said "no, I thought that was tomorrow." They said it had been changed to Tuesday because of bad weather on Wednesday. So we missed the trunk or treat. So on Halloween night, we just went home at six because there were a bunch of people already outside trick or treating, and just rested because we were feeling under the weather. But then Thursday happened and Elder Toll and I felt like death, so we cancelled all of our appointments and just rested all day, which was really sad because we had two really good lessons set up that day and service at the senior center. But oh well.
We found this nice couple named Maggie and John and we taught them the first discussion, and they said that they wanted to come to church but didn't have a car. They had sold one and then right after that the one they kept broke down, so they are out of a vehicle to get to church right now. But they're a super nice younger couple! Hopefully they get a car soon! We also met an inactive member the other day and he was super nice! His name is Johnny. He let us in and talked to us for about 2 hours about his life and said he thought he should go back to church. We will probably be working with him for a while here! But things have been looking up with the help of the members here! The Branch President gave us a bunch of new things to do throughout our time here in Russell Springs which is super nice, and a lot better than knocking on doors all day! Well, it's a blast out here. I know that this church is true, and anyone willing to put in the effort to find out if it is will come to know for themselves that Jesus Christ's church has been restored to the Earth through the prophet Joseph Smith, and co tongues to be restored even today!
