Welcome back to another exciting episode of, "The Mission" Starring Elder Stephen Ray, Co-Starring Elder Austin Godfrey. This week went by fast! I don't remember a lot of what happened but I do remember the important things, like we got a new washer and dryer after our old one stopped working! But then we found out the new dryer doesn't work... So once again we have to hang our clothes up to dry at night. It's not that bad, just not the most convenient. On Friday we had district council up in Corbin and then went out for district Lunch! We went out to eat at Lee's which is a fried chicken place, and then we went and took pictures at the original KFC. I kinda felt like I was betraying KFC because Lee's wasn't even that good... On Sunday church was canceled because of a water problem they were having, so that was weird. That's the first time that's ever happened to me! So we were stuck in Russell Springs trying to figure out what to do instead of spending the day in Liberty like we had planned. We just decided to go tracting and actually found a pretty solid person to teach! That made 8 new people this week. We didn't have anybody at church because we didn't have church, but we are working on that! That's like all we do out here is try to help people come closer to Christ and definitely a big part of that is coming to church!
We watched the face to face with Elder cook last night at the De Robles's and it was pretty dang awesome! I would definitely recommend watching that to anyone that has questions about the restoration of the Church! It answers a lot of frequently asked questions by members and non members and points us to a place where we are able to find even more answers to the questions we might have! The Spirit that you feel when listening to an apostle of Jesus Christ speak is astounding! That's why I'm stoked for general conference in a few weeks! It's probably the best weekend on the mission! Well, I'm still doing fine over here in Russell Springs! I hope y'all are doing fine too! Love yous!
