We'll as most of you know, we have been having difficulty with out washer and dryer recently, but it is my privilege to tell all of you folks back home that our washer finally washes and our dryer finally dries! Probably the best part of the week right there. Today I messaged one of my past companions who is now home, Elder Windisch, and he told me that he was going to buy us lunch. So he called pizza hut and had them deliver 2 pizzas, wings, soda, and breadsticks to our apartment. Blessings from heaven right there. Anyways, this week was pretty good, although it seems like literally everybody we talk to and everyone that we are teaching is just having a mid-life crisis at the moment and there isn't really anything we can do to help except pray for them. If only they were more willing to put God first and put their faith in him, I'm sure they would be able to see all the blessing that God grants them every single day.
We had District Conference with the Zone Leaders Elder Adamovich and Elder Stevenson on Thursday and one of the things we talked about was trying to help people understand how important the Book of Mormon really is and what it means. Then on Saturday we had four lessons that happened. Every single one of them was just us telling people that they have to read the Book of Mormon to find out if it is true and that it really has eternal consequences. Either the Book of Mormon is true or it isn't. There is no inbetween. Anyways, this week was pretty good. I made the super good pulled pork burritos this week and we also got a lot of food from members and now I'm fat(ter). Probably worth it though. Love you all!
