Hey everybody!
This week was a pretty good week. Same old missionary stuff as always but here are some of the highlights! Last Monday we went to a lesson with a woman named Chastity and when we walked in a member from the Somerset branch was there! We started talking to Chastity and taught her the restoration with the help of the member, Amber, and she accepted the invitation to be baptized! So that was pretty cool. We also were able to set another baptismal date with a guy named Wesley. We met his whole family but he was the only one that was really interested. He is 19 years old and said he would like to be baptized. God has definitely blessed this area in allowing to find and talk to so many people that are willing to let us come back at least once. I didn't think a problem I'd have as a missionary is having too many appointments scheduled that we have to start scheduling them 2 weeks in advance... but I'd take that over having nobody to teach any day.
This week we had district Lunch after District Council and we all went to Mellow Mushroom. It was pretty good, but kind of expensive. The Cumberland District is awesome! But transfer calls are this Saturday so it might change soon. I'm so grateful to be a part of this magnificent work and its so amazing to see how I am able to bless the lives of others with the help of the Lord, even if they aren't willing to accept our message. The message we share is true, if only people would put in the time and have an open mind enough to see that. God loves His children and speaks to them today. The same way he has throughout all of history. I love you all and miss you still!
