Hello everyone!
This week marked 2 milestones for me! My 9 month mark on my mission and my 19th birthday! What a great time it has been! This week we didn't find as many people but it was still a fun week! We had district meeting and we took the cake that my mom sent me and ate it there and took pictures. I've been eating cake for the past 4 days with pretty much every meal. The primary sang happy birthday to me yesterday which was super cute. They came and got us from priesthood and brought us in there. This branch is pretty awesome! Thank you for all the birthday wishes everyone! I really appreciate it! Also Transfer calls were on Saturday and I will be staying in Russell Springs for another 6 weeks with Elder Godfrey but we are supposed to be moving apartments in about 2 weeks, so my address will change then, but until then it is still 49 Horntown lane.
This week we were out tracting and we talked to this person who played guitar for another church and so he took us in and showed us all of his guitars and let us play them for a tiny bit. He didn't accept the invitation to read the Book of Mormon but he was very nice! We also met a lady named Mayrene who said to us, "what can your church give me that the Methodists cant?" We set up a time to come back and she said, "I'll give you 30 minutes." Well, the lesson was more than 30 minutes and she seemed to understand what we were telling her. I think she could have some potential if she is willing to read and pray about the book of mormon. She said she will, so hopefully she actually will. I hope you all are doing fine! Things are all good here in the Great Kentucky Louisville Mission. I love you all and miss you! Mad love!
