Hey everybody!
Well this week was pretty average. On Monday for P day we went to the De Robles' house and played laser tag. It was pretty fun! We went and had interviews with President Hughes on Tuesday which is always a fun time! We brought cookie brownies to that. Then, like it says in the title, we literally just went finding for the rest of the week. We had some appointments planned but I'm pretty sure all of them fell through, but the Lord allowed us to be able to find 17 new people this week! Some were small families but it was awesome! A lot of them were found Saturday night after hours of tracting with no success the rest of that day.
This week we had a lesson set up with Don, who didn't let us in, but while we were waiting for him to open the door, the crazy lady that we have been meeting with runs over from across the trailer park and yells, "We don't serve Jehovah's witnesses here!" Now that was pretty weird because first of all, we had met with her 3 times before this and on the last one she said she would go see a doctor and a therapist before our next meeting.... Also, this wasn't even her property, we were at least 100 yards away from her trailer, but she still ran over and talked to us, and this was the second time she had done that.
The conversation went something like, "Christy it's us, the Mormon missionaries, Elder Godfrey and Elder Ray."
"I just want to know what the deal is, here."
"Christy. Christy Lambert. We've met with you like 3 times."
"And? What's going on here?"
"Do you remember us?"
"And? I want to know what's going on!"
"We just have an appointment with Don that lives in this trailer."
"Okay that's all I wanted to know."
And she just walks off back to her trailer.... probably the weirdest thing that's happened on my mission so far.
Anyways, things are going good out here! I love you and miss you all!
