Hey Y'all!
I'm not sick, but the rest of Kentucky has the flu. It gets pretty dang cold here. I've been wearing pajamas under my suit pants for the past week. On Friday we went and chopped some wood for a few hours over at the Beaver's in the freezing cold, but we didn't need jackets or anything after a while. On Wednesday we were asked if we could teach the Young Women on Sunday, and then on Saturday morning we were asked if we could give talks on Sunday, and then Saturday night we were asked if we could teach Gospel Principles class also... so we went to church planning on pretty much running the whole thing. We gave our talks, no one showed up to Gospel Principles which was fine because we hadn't really prepared anything anyways, and then we taught the Young Women about member missionary work.
Sunday night, we gave 10 blessings to a family in our ward and that was weird. We've never given 10 consecutive blessings before. We ate dinner at the Boone's house, one of the few families in the ward that isn't sick, and we watched some LDS videos with them. Their littlest kid, Michael, is about seven years old and gave us each at least 5 hugs throughout our dinner there. Then we went home, studied, and slept. A very eventful new years, I know. Sometime last week I got a package from Cameron Powell as a late Christmas gift and he made me a tie with a bunch of cats on it! It was beautiful. I love you all still! I hope y'all are feeling well! I'm doing fine over here!
