And thus we see that the commandments of God must be fulfilled. And if it so be that the children of men keep the commandments of God he doth
nourish them, and strengthen them, and provide means whereby they can accomplish the thing which he has commanded them; 1 Nephi 17:3

Your son is so handsome, if he was older, I'd flirt with him!

July 22, 2019

Well, another Transfer has come and gone and my dad, Elder Mills, has gone the way of all the Earth. Well, he will tomorrow. But, my new companion is Elder Terry who was in the MTC with me! Woo! He wasn't my companion but we shared the same room. It's gonna be sweet! I love that man! This transfer is going to be Terryfic!

This week was really good and super busy! Turns out Paul wasn't ghosting us, he just got a new smart phone and didn't know how to call us back, so when we went over there and he was home, we taught him how to use it. He was practicing with it later that night and ended up calling us like 7 times. It was pretty funny. This week we also went to a lady's house to help her move and let me tell you. That was not something I want to repeat. Do you know what a sugarglider is? Well they smell nasty. Now, Imagine 12 of them in two rooms, with their cages not being cleaned out for 3 weeks! We had to clean them out and move the cages downstairs and just try to keep our lunch down... That was fun. We had some pretty good success with the people that we are teaching this week though. We had a good lesson with Wayne about the organization of the church and the Restoration of the Priesthood and it was cool because I even learned and understood more about Priesthood keys after teaching him. We also taught this cool new guy named Rosbin and he had 3 main questions for us: Why are there so many churches? Why does God allow so much suffering? and How can I know what is true? Let me tell you, if you ever have any of those questions go find a missionary and they can tell you! It was a really sweet lesson where we taught him about the Restoration and the spirit was strong there! At the end of it he said, "well, I guess I should read the Book of Mormon then! I'll read a couple of pages tonight!" It was pretty cool.

Now, quick story explaining my title. So Elder Mills was backing the car, making sure I didn't get in another accident (okay but none of the other ones were my fault and all missionaries are required to back up the car) and this old lady, probably 75ish years old is walking down the street and after Elder mills gets in the car she walks over to the car and we roll down our window and she just says to me, "Your son is so handsome, If he was older, I'd flirt with him!" LOL. That was hilarious. I guess I look like a dad haha! But yep, that was my week. We went to Louisville yesterday for Elder Mills' farewell interview, so it's officially over for him. Thanks to all you that took a gander at this here email. Love yous! XXOOXOXOxoxoxo
