Hey everyone!
Pretty much just another ordinary week in the life of a missionary. Full of tracting, eating, talking, teaching, getting dropped, the whole 9 yards! On Tuesday Elder Jessee asked me, "have you ever been dropped by anyone before?" I told him yes. Later that day we get a call from someone who is on baptismal date and he says he is just going to go to his church instead. Dropped. Then that night we were at our ward coordination meeting with brother Aliki and during that we get a text saying that Olivia wants to discontinue our lessons. Dropped. So yes I have been dropped and now he has too! It was very sad, they both had so much potential, but it's their decision and we can't force them to accept the gospel. If God's children don't want to choose Him, he loves us so much that he isn't going to make us choose Him!
Saturday and Sunday we had some awesome lessons though with our most progressing people. Daniel and Tawnya on Saturday and Patrick on Sunday! We just sat down with them and talked to them like we were normal human beings, and just had a good conversation with them. Full of jokes, emotions, the spirit and anything else you could want in a lesson! It was great! At Patrick's lesson, his girlfriend asked us to tell him about the commandments, so we ended up teaching him the Word of Wisdom, the law of chastity, and the full gospel of Jesus Christ! It was a lot of information but his girlfriend had already been teaching him a lot of it so it didn't completely blindside him! He is so cool! I can't wait for his baptism in April and I will be really sad when I leave this area! Anyways, that's about it! Love you all!
