Hey y'all!
This week was pretty good! Elder Pedersen is my new companion and he is pretty cool! We Had a bunch of lessons this week so we barely had any time to tract. Besides General Conference I think Thursday was the highlight of my week! That morning I finished the Book of Mormon again and chose to follow Moroni's promise to pray and ask God if it was true. I prayed and I wondered why God didn't give me this wondrous manifestation of the spirit to show me that it was true, but I just went about my day. While giving service that day at the senior center, one of the people we usually work with, Christie, started asking us about the church, and she had a question about a story in the bible that I didn't know was in there about Lazarus the beggar and the rich man. Well, I read the story in the bible out loud to her and I had no idea what it was talking about, but when I started talking, the spirit helped me convey to her that it was talking about the Spirit World, and I knew that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints really does have the fullness of the gospel and is the Lord's church on the earth today! It was definitely an unforgettable experience!
General Conference was awesome as well! The Lord really is hastening the work in its time. 2 hour church is gonna be weird getting used to. Also, my trainee (son) Elder Toll is being dropped off to me today so I will begin training today! That's an exciting/scary thought. But it should be fun! I'm sure I will learn a lot in the next 3 months. Everything is going great here! I hope all is well for all y'all as well! Love you!
