Well, they gave me Liberty. After just one transfer here in Madisonville I am being transferred to the middle of nowhere, Liberty, Kentucky. My new companion is named Elder Godfrey, and I haven't met him yet, but he looks like a super nice guy from pictures! This transfer went by fast! I cant believe it's already been almost 8 months since I left! I'm going to miss Madisonville and Elder Hales, but not too much! Missionary work is hard! I will leave for Liberty tomorrow morning at 5:30! For the 4th of July we went to a members house at night and watched them set off sprinklers and we played board games and ate hamburgers. It was pretty fun! There was also a fireworks tent that caught on fire in Madisonville and it was on CNN. The video is pretty cool, but that was just a mile down the road from us!
This week we were tracting and we were talking to this lady and she was about to close the door on us but we just kept on talking and eventually her husband, Patrick, came over and started talking to us. We explained what the Book of Mormon was and as elder Hales and I both testified of what it was and it's truthfulness, the spirit came super strong to us and at the end Patrick was crying and he hugged both of us and it was a super awesome experience! We haven't seen him since and I won't get to, but hopefully he will take this opportunity to change his life for the better! We also met a family who the wife is a member from the Marshall Islands and her husband is not a member, and we were able to teach them and hopefully she will come back to church! She is super awesome! She also has about 30 family members that live in Evansville that are Mormon but they all speak Marshallese so they go to Assembly of God because they have services in Marshallese there. But she said that if there was a Marshallese branch up there then they would go to that instead of assembly of God because they all have testimonies of the Book of Mormon. Hopefully Elder Hales can get something rolling where they are able to come to church again. That would be awesome! The Church is true! I love you all and miss you and Arizona!
