So yes, there are ticks here, so that's cool! None have bit me yet but I did find two on me and now they're in the apartment somewhere because I was gonna smoosh them but they dropped on the ground and I couldn't find them anymore. Also we tracted a street called Tick Ln and I was making jokes about quit tickln me. I thought it was funny.. anyways, this week was pretty fun, the usual tracting and teaching happened! On Sunday we did a zone fast for investigators and then we just drove around to all our different investigators just to stop by, see how they were doing, see if they even wanted to hear our message, and we ended up prayerfully dropping 6 people but we also go good news from the more solid people!
One of the Johns we were teaching a few weeks ago told us he was going through some hard things with his wife and when we went back yesterday to see how he was doing everything was fine and happy and he said we could start meeting again! Yesterday my companion and I both had the impression to go up and try some former investigators near the top of our area and so we did it, knowing that's what God wanted us to do. When we got there we were yelled at to go do something with our lives, yelled at from a truck, and thoroughly avoided. We don't know why God had us go up there, maybe it was to test our faith, maybe it was just so someone could see us and plant a seed, or maybe it was to protect us from something worse that could have happened if we weren't up there. Whatever it was, it was still fun and still felt good to be doing what God wanted us to do! I'm so thankful for personal revelation and for a prophet that shows us exactly how we are able to receive it! This work is awesome! Love you all!
