Hey yall!
This week was pretty cool! We helped put in new LED lights for the church building here on Wednesday and Friday and we tracted in the rain for about 3 hours on Saturday. We did quite a bit of tracting this week and we found 4 new investigators. Some are kinda sketchy but at least they have an opportunity to hear the Gospel! One of our investigators that the missionaries have been working with for a few years named Nancy was baptized by Elder Hoskins on Saturday so that was cool to be a part of! We also helped Elder Hoskins' recent convert Harith find some family names for him to take to the temple to be baptized for them so while he was looking for his family members I was looking for some of mine that haven't been done yet and I found 3 people that I am able to take to the temple! I'm super excited for that!
We taught a guy named Chris Bramlet on Tuesday about the Plan of Salvation and he said he knows God is leading him in the right direction and accepted the invitation to be baptized on May 12, so we'll see what happens! We also found and taught two pretty solid new investigators named Jeffery and Dustin ( 2 different houses 2 different times) about the Restoration and they both will take some time for us to help them understand everything but they seem pretty promising. We also visited this guy named John who's wife is a member but we haven't taught him in a while because they've both been super sick. But he's come to church a few times and his wife strongly believes in the church but they also go to his church. I think he'll come around eventually! He's a super nice guy! The work is going pretty well in Greenville! It was kinda slow a few weeks ago but it's getting better! Love y'all and miss you!
Love,
Your favorite Greenville Kentucky Missionary,
Elder Stephen Ray
