Howdy y'all city folk!
This week was pretty cool! So we were supposed to have a baptism this past Saturday but we called her and she said she thought it was next Saturday and she had already invited family to come next Saturday... so we will now be having a baptism next Saturday. But this past Saturday in Frankfort, the people I was teaching got baptized and confirmed!! It was super awesome and I was able to Facebook message FaceTime I to part of it! Gerry, the mom that got baptized, said that she just felt peace after her baptism! Having the Gift of the Holy Ghost will do that to ya! This past Sunday the person that was giving a talk got sick and couldn't do it, so they asked me and I had to get up and give a talk with 30 minutes notice. It was satisfactory at best, but now the ward knows me better!
Right now we are working with a few different people. We go and teach a woman named Angie in her store a few days a week and right now we are trying to get her to quit smoking! We are also working with a guy who is married to a person who has been a member for over 40 years. His name is John and he's come to church a few times before I got here. He still also goes to his church, but I think he is progressing and feels the spirit when we are over there! Nancy is getting baptized this Saturday so all we've doing with her recently is listening to talks with her and answering any questions she has before her baptism! Another family we are teaching is the Patels who are from India and have no idea who Jesus Christ is, so it's a new experience! It's the first time I've ever seen a Hindi book of Mormon, too so that was cool! I love you all and miss you! Take luck, care for it! God bless America!
