And thus we see that the commandments of God must be fulfilled. And if it so be that the children of men keep the commandments of God he doth
nourish them, and strengthen them, and provide means whereby they can accomplish the thing which he has commanded them; 1 Nephi 17:3

Hello Everybody!

It's a good day to have a great day! Well this week went by pretty fast! On Wednesday we had our last district council of the Transfer! We sang God Be With You Till We Meet Again like we do for every last district council of the Transfer! Then I went on an exchange with Elder Johnson in Leitchfield! It was pretty fun! We helped move a bunch of logs for their ward mission leader and somebody that they are teaching for a couple hours. We had a good time! Went tracting for a couple hours, found nobody interested, and did other missionary related things. It was a good exchange! Friday we did even more service for one of the referrals we got! We helped them move for 4 and half hours. Thousands of boxes.

On Friday night we went back to Steven and Robby's house. Steven was in the back room (thank goodness) and so we were actually able to have a really good spiritual lesson with Robby! He has some really good potential and he says he really wants to know about his Native American culture and no other religion or history can tell it except the Book of Mormon, so he said he would read it and pray about it! And then on Saturday we got Transfer calls! Woo! So I've been in Brandenburg for about 4 and half months, but I am now going to be in Shelbyville as a Zone Leader! That'll be exciting and new. I can't wait though! Shelbyville is in the district that I first started my mission in, (hence the title) so hopefully I will get to go back to Frankfort on exchanges, too! My new companion is Elder McHenry and he was in Shelbyville when I was in Frankfort about a year and a half ago, so it's pretty cool we are able to serve together there!

On Sunday we had stake conference and Patrick was there which was great! The thing that I remember most about Stake conference is the love that our leaders have for us. They aren't paid for what they do, they don't speak or give talks for their own selfish gain, and they are completely devoted to Jesus Christ. They do this because they are called of God, and most importantly they do it because they love us. Imagine that, if everybody in the world loved each other the very first time they met them. They don't have to like what they do, but if everybody recognized God's love for them and that they are children of God, the world would be an entirely different place. I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to be God's messenger and to bring others into the restored church of Jesus Christ. I love you all and hope you have a fantastic week! Many exciting new adventures await me in the next 6 months! Thank you to everybody that actually read this exceedingly long email. Y'all are true homies.

Love, Elder Ray
